Jazz It Up at the Library on Sunday

There will be a jazz concert at the Oakland Senior Citizens Center on Sunday, April 28, to raise money for the New Friends of Oakland Public Library.

The New Friends of the Oakland Public Library will be holding the final event in its 2012-13 Concert Series on Sunday, April 28 at the Oakland Senior Citizens Center on Lawler Drive.

Bob Leive is back by popular demand after an adored concert in 2011. Bob will be with his eight-piece Wooster Street Trolley Jazz Band playing old and new jazz. There will be light refreshments at 3:00 p.m. and the concert will start at 4 p.m.

Tickets are $20 for adults and $15 for children 12 and over. Tickets can be purchased through the Oakland Public Library and seating is limited. All proceeds will be used to support the 2013-14 Concert Series, which will begin in October.
