An upcoming FLOW Follies Beefsteak Dinner will honor social studies supervisor Hank Bitten.
Hank Bitten has served the RIH district since 1992, first as history supervisor at Ramapo High School, and then at Indian Hills High School.
"He is respected and beloved among both faculty and students," said Organizer Cheri McCusker. "Mr. Bitten was instrumental in developing and maintaining the international Studies and Business University Program offered at Indian Hills. His passionate devotion to the curriculum, the students, and the program has been truly inspirational."
The event is scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 12, at 6:30 p.m. at the Oakland Elks Club, 33 Ramapo Valley Road, in Oakland. Tickets cost $50 per person and includeNightingale Catering Beefsteak and beer, wine or soda.
There will also be basket raffles, a 50/50 and a silent auction.

For more than 25 years, FLOW Follies has provided scholarships for graduating RIH seniors. Parents in the district write, produce, and perform in the annual musical comedy variety show.
