Wyckoff Residents Targeted in 'I Am A Pig' Spray Paint Vandalism

Vandals defaced the Wyckoff home of a former committee candidate and local teacher, as well as the cars of a pair of township residents during a party Saturday night.

Eileen Avia, a Voorhis Avenue resident, was hosting a get together for about 20 supporters of her erstwhile campaign Saturday night, she said, when someone spray painted her garage door and the vinyl siding on two sides of her home with cruel slurs.

Teaneck Firefighters Rescue Motorist From Route 4 Wreck 

Teaneck firefighters extricated a man from a mangled car after a single-vehicle crash on Route 4 east Saturday morning. 

Officials said the car's lone occupant suffered serious injuries, but was alert and conscious when he was pulled from the wreck, west of the Garrison Avenue bridge.
