Santa is Coming to Oakland This Weekend

It's that time of year again.

The Oakland Fire Department will be bringing Santa Claus around Oakland on their fire trucks on Saturday and Sunday, according to Oakland Fire Chief Robert Knapp. 

"In addition to being a drop off point for the Oakland Police Departments PBA Toy Drive we will also be a drop off point for the Oakland Woman's Club Food Drive at each stop," Knapp said. 

The toys and food collected will be distributed to Oakland residents in need.

"Your support for either cause would be greatly appreciated," Knapp said.
