Don Bosco Prep Announces AP Scholars

Don Bosco Prep Principal John Stanczak announced Tuesday that 51 students have been recognized as AP Scholars by the College Board for AP exams taken in May. Some of the AP Scholars are current seniors and some have graduated with the Class of 2012 and have gone to matriculate at major colleges and universities throughout the United States.

National AP Scholar  

William J. McCormack of Pearl River, NY has been recognized as a National AP Scholar, which is granted to those students earning scores of 4 or higher on all AP Exams taken, and 4 or higher on eight or more AP Exams.

AP Scholars with Distinction

Seventeen Don Bosco Prep students have been recognized as AP Scholars with Distinction. This designation is granted to students who receive scores of 3.5 or higher (on a 1-5 scale) on five of more AP Exams. They are Bennett L. Alvaro, Alexander T. Badura, Thomas J. Biaglow, James V. Depierro, Thomas B. Hennessy, Gaston Jean-Louis, Jr., Sean C. Kang , Robert S. Krasowski , William J. McCormack , Matthew J. McMorrow, Thomas M. McNulty, Nicholas R. Mendolia, George J. Mundanchira, Carl Palad, Padraic M. Quinn, Christopher J. Wilson, Alexander Zabrodskiy

AP Scholars with Honor

Nine Don Bosco Prep have been recognized as AP Scholar with Honor. This designation is granted to students who receive scores of 3.25 or higher (on a 1-5 scale) on four of more AP Exams. They are Brendan A. Calello, Michael A. Cislo, John P. Geraghty, James Hoffmann, Stephen M. Prendergast, Conor Sheehan, Conor J. Sperzel, Joseph M. Tekerian, Ryan E. Tucker
