Nemo Forces Ramapo-Indian Hills To Call Early Dismissal

High school is the latest Bergen County school to amend Friday schedule ahead of wintery forecast

Ramapo and Indian Hills high schools have decided to close early Friday ahead of a winter storm that could bring more than a foot of snow to the area.

The decision was made by school administrators late Friday.

"Based on the most recent weather forecasts for Friday, Feb. 8, we will be having an early dismissal tomorrow," according to a message posted on the school district's website. "All students and staff will follow a minimum day schedule.  Dismissal will be at 11:51 a.m.
