Krautman Perfect as Syracuse Spanks WVU

Franklin Lakes native helped lift the Orangemen to a 38-14 victory at Yankee Stadium

Syracuse Kicker Ross Krautman scored first on the afternoon of Dec. 29 as his team cruised to victory against West Virginia University in the Pinstripe Bowl.

Krautman, a Ramapo High School grad who played in his first when he was a freshman, helped 'Cuse wallop WVU in a victory where the Orangemen outscored the Mountaineers in every quarter.

The 5-foot-7-inch junior didn't miss a kick on the snowy field at Yankee Stadium on Saturday, hiting 25- and 36-yard field goals and four extra points — for a total 10 points on the day — in the 38-14 victory.
